The Spiritualists'
National Union exists to promote the
knowledge and philosophy of Spiritualism
on the basis of the Seven Principles.
The West Midlands District Council is one of
fourteen regional branches of the Spiritualists' National Union.
Within the
West Midlands
we have 29 affiliated SNU
churches. The District Council has two general meetings a year and holds two open
forums. All are welcome at meetings.
What does the District Council do?
- promotes
the spread of Spiritualism based on the Seven
Principles
- supports
and promotes the training of future mediums
- promotes
the link between the national organization and local churches
- supports
the development of Spiritualist healers by offering training and assessment
of trainee healers
- seeks to
further all the objectives of the SNU in our area
- supports
our churches
- helps to
maintain standards and share good practice
- holds
special events
- raises
funds to communicate with members and publicise events
How do we do it?
- Offer
education courses and opportunities for learning, from awareness raising to
developing advanced mediumship
- Hold
events for church officers and members which
